#3 Universal Lid

I am somewhat concerned about starting in a new position as a cook. This job needs more skill then the last. As such, I have been watching some cooking videos and taking a Master Class by Thomas Keller. He described essential kitchen equipment and I, of course, found something I didn't have and couldn't live without. This is a universal lid and it will work on any pot that is the same size or smaller. No more searching around for the exact size lid. I liked the one that he showed a lot more than the one I got. That was metal with a handle on the side so it lay flat and could be hung on a peg. However, that was $80 per lid. This was a nice set of 3 lightweight silicone lids that I got from IKEA for under $20. My first impression is "where have these been all my life?" I tried it for the first time yesterday.
