# 12 The Nightingale

I finished this book last night, staying up past my bedtime. It was one of those books that is hard to put down. I generally don't read World War II fiction. I don't like romanticizing this atrocity. This book was universally recommended by all my reading groups. It blew me away and it definitely didn't romanticize the war. I realize starting a new book is more of a new thing but it doesn't feel like an accomplishment. So I finished a new book and I will leave it at that.
